Wellbeing

Following experience on the Morgan Stanley Clinical Building (whilst at Llewelyn Davies), a Feasibility & Design Report was commissioned by GOSH’s Corporate Facilities Team to review their existing operations, determine spatial requirements and reorganise facilities with better clinical adjacencies & ultimately accommodate increased clinical capacity.

With an anticipated 20% increase in the demand for services it was important that the planning managed the throughput of Outpatients in a more efficient, dynamic & more informative way.

Main Entrance Feasibility

Provision of a planning study and design strategy for GOSH’s Main Entrance, retail precinct & primary circulation areas. This study developed ideas to maximise the capacity of the main entrance and to integrate better facilities for families including improved waiting facilities & family resources.

It was important that the Main Entrance provided an environment that reflected GOSH’s world renowned reputation & quality of care and that reduced the current visual overload upon entry with a new, clear wayfinding strategy.

Hospital Street Upgrade & Donor Portals

Concept designs were developed for the creation of Entrance Portals to recognise important Donors and newly refurbished buildings along the existing hospital street. New campus wayfinding solutions were designed to help improve the hospital experience and functionality, whilst embracing Landor Associates comprehensive ‘Natural World’ wayfinding system.
