Hermantes Studio are proud to support THE FELIX PROJECT, a London-based food redistribution charity as well as regularly taking part in other Just Giving activities and personal charities.

THE FELIX PROJECT

At least 3 million tonnes of edible food waste is generated by the UK food industry each year. At the same time, food poverty is a huge and growing problem, where 4.7million adults in the UK struggle to afford to eat every day. Millions of people in the UK regularly experience hunger, yet tonnes of surplus fresh food is thrown away every day, which is diabolical!

The Felix Project provides a free door-to-door service to collect fresh, nutritious surplus food from the food industry that would otherwise go to waste and deliver it to hundreds of front-line charities, suppliers and schools so they can provide fresh, healthy meals and help the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our society. In 2021, The Felix Project provided food for 30 million meals.
