Hermantes Studio worked in close collaboration with GroupGSA, Link’s long-term design partners in Australia, to ensure the Link vision was realised and their understated style, retained.

The Client’s Business and Design objectives were to create a truly agile workplace in a setting that reflected their global brand by offering a fresh, approachable and highly-functioning environment.

Leeds being the chosen location for Link’s Northern Hub was owing to the city’s strong digital infrastructure, a strong local talent pool from nearby Universities with keen investment and beneficial job creation in the thriving FinTech Sector.

The co-location of multiple business teams and skill-sets under one roof has been hugely beneficial in strengthening communication and business efficiency. The creation of state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of the City, is Link’s strategy to ensure they attract and retain high quality staff.

Works carried out to an intense 16-week programme, saw the installation of a feature Staircase to provide essential connectivity for the business between the floorplates, knocking through existing structural floor slabs in an occupied and fully operational building. Also, the complex installation of a new Gas Generator into a difficult location on a specialist steel gantry in the Basement created necessary resilience for business operations.
